HOME Stair Landing Stained Glass - CONTEMPORARY design |
The client wanted a accent piece set in their newly installed wrought iron stair railing.
This piece presented a unusual situation because it was not located in a window opening and therefore did not receive the strong daylight a window typically receives. The challenge was to create a piece that could read in several types of light from both sides.
By using a strong design in the leadline I was able to create a work
that reads in both reflected and transmitted light
