Log Cabin Quilt Classes

STUDENTS MUST BE 18 OR OLDER

Four of the same pattern merged into a larger "Quilt"

In this class, students will learn how to create a log cabin style quilt pattern.  Skills taught include:

• gauge cutting technique
• Selecting glass colors 
• Elementary glass cutting
• Assembling the glass pieces using lead came
• Soldering the lead joints
• Waterproofing using putty
• Attaching hangers

All supplies and tools are provided.  

This is the first class of several quilt patterns in stained glass. This class will be a beginner class in the quilt pattern series. There will be subsequent advanced classes that will require that you first take the cutting class.
 
Classes are held on  scheduled Sundays from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. (see booking calendar) ​The classes are held at Sycamore Studio/Gallery 26, 26 East Baltimore Avenue, Lansdowne, PA. Click on "Book now" button and click on "Log Cabin Quilt - Beginner Class" to see available dates of classes. Then click on the date and time of your preferred class in order to register.

The class fee of $225 will be required at the time of booking. Cancellations must be at least 7 days in advance of the class in order to receive a refund.  After 7 days, we will not be able to refund the class fee but a credit may be applied to a future class. 

Each class will have 2 - 4 students and we will cancel the class if the minimum number are not registered three days before the class is scheduled.  In the case of a class cancellation, a full refund will be made.

A liability waiver must be signed before taking this class.  Please wear closed toed shoes
